Ingredients:
- Beef (thinly sliced) – 800 g (1.76 lb.)
- Carrots (sliced) – 100 g (3.53 oz.)
- Zucchini (sliced) – 120 g (4.23 oz.)
- Chinese cabbage – 100 g (3.53 oz.)
- Galangal – 25 g (0.88 oz.)
- Garlic (sliced) – 4 cloves
- Soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
- Black pepper (ground) – 1/4 tsp.
- Brown sugar – 1 tsp.
- Hoisin sauce – 2 tbsp.
- Extra virgin olive oil – 3 tbsp.
Directions:
- Heat a non-stick pan or wok.
- Add the extra virgin olive oil and sauté the galangal, garlic, beef, soy sauce, ground pepper, brown sugar and Hoisin sauce.
- Simmer until beef is tender.
- Add carrots, cook for 3 minutes and then add the zucchini and the stalk of Chinese cabbage, simmer again for 3 minutes.
- Add the Chinese cabbage leaves, complete cooking and serve.
