Ingredients:
- Beef – 600 g (1.32 lb.)
- Onion (sliced) – 2 PCs.
- Garlic (minced) – 2 cloves
- Coconut milk – 400 ml (13.53 fl.oz.)
- Coriander seeds – 2 tsp.
- Cumin – 1 tsp.
- Cloves – 3 PCs.
- Cardamom – 3 PCs.
- Cinnamon – 2 little PCs.
- Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
- Salt and pepper for seasoning
Directions:
- Blend a half of the onion with the garlic and 4 tbsp. of coco-milk and use this mixture to marinate the meat for 30 minutes.
- Crush finely all the spices in a mortar or spice blender.
- Add the oil in a large pan and sauté the remaining onion for 3 minutes.
- Add the meat with all the marinade and the mix of spices.
- Bring to a boil and then add the remaining coconut milk, cover with the lid and allow simmer for about 5 minutes, adjust of salt and pepper if needed.
Tip: if available, use a spices net for easy removal after cooking
